Two People. One Camera.

I’ve spent most of my life pointing a camera at people I’ve never met.

Musicians. Celebrities. Politicians. Complete strangers on the street. People celebrating, arguing, laughing, crying, getting married, marching, protesting, performing—or simply having a really good or really bad day.

And one thing I’ve learned is that you never really know what’s going to happen when two strangers meet.

That’s the idea behind the "Two People. One Camera" photo sessions.

You go through a little application process, and if you’re selected, you show up for a completely planned first date or styled photoshoot. I take care of the details. You just show up and be yourself.

Maybe there’s chemistry. Maybe there isn’t. Maybe you become friends. Maybe you never see each other again.

There are no guarantees—and honestly, that’s the fun part.

This isn't some promise that I’m going to find you your soulmate. I’m a photographer, not a matchmaker. 😂

What I can promise is an experience with someone you probably would have never met otherwise, some great photographs, and hopefully a story worth telling afterward.

Because I’ve always believed the best stuff happens when you get a little uncomfortable, take a chance, and say “Sure, why not?”

So… want to meet a stranger?

Next Sessions

The next "Two People. One Camera" photo sessions are happening mid-October.

So if you’ve been thinking, “That sounds crazy. I should probably do it,” this is your sign.

Applications are open now.

Take a chance. Meet a stranger. Make some photographs. See what happens.

How It Works

This is pretty simple.

If you’re in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area and think meeting a complete stranger and doing something a little different sounds like fun, you can apply.

Once a month, I’ll go through the applications and start playing matchmaker. I’ll look for people who seem like they might make an interesting pairing—not necessarily people who look perfect on paper, but people who might have some potential for a good time and a good story.

If I think I’ve got a match, I’ll reach out with the details:

The day. The location. The activity or photo concept.

Everything will be planned ahead of time, so you won’t have to figure out where to go or what to do. Just show up, meet your stranger, and see what happens.

If you’re into it, we’re on.

If you’re not feeling it, no hard feelings. I’ll simply move on to the next person on the list and see who else might be a good fit.

The cost is $100 per person, which covers the Two People One Camera experience and the photography.

And just to be clear: I’m not guaranteeing romance. I’m guaranteeing an experience.

Maybe you meet somebody you really click with.

Maybe you make a new friend.

Maybe you discover you have absolutely nothing in common.

Or maybe you get some great photographs and one hell of a story.

That's kind of the point.

A Few Ground Rules

Okay, before you volunteer to participate in a Two People, One Camera photo session while I stand there with a camera, there are a few things you should know. 😂

You should be outgoing.

If you’re naturally social, can carry a conversation, and have a good sense of humor, you’re probably going to be a good fit. If awkward silence is your superpower, this might not be your thing.

You need to be comfortable in front of a camera.

I’m going to be photographing you. A lot. So if the thought of a camera pointed at you makes you want to run for the nearest exit, this probably isn't for you.

You have to be willing to let me share the photographs and video.

You’ll sign a release allowing images and video from the session to be used and shared on social media. If you want complete anonymity, this probably isn't the experiment for you.

You need to be comfortable with some intimacy.

Depending on the date and the chemistry between you, there may be PDA, intimate posing, and potentially a kiss. Nothing is forced—but you need to be comfortable with the possibility.

If you say yes, you actually have to show up.

Once we lock in the date and time, I need you there. This whole thing doesn't work if somebody ghosts the date—or me. 😂

And finally… you need to be single and between 21 and 45.

That's it.

You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to know exactly what you're looking for.

You just need to be willing to meet a stranger, have a sense of humor, and see what happens when somebody else controls the plan for a change.

If that sounds like you, apply.
